Very cool, that's an easy enough solution. You've got me thinking about doing something similar now with a Smith oblong style lanyard loop which I prefer to the round ring. The stud's a little too short and fat to rethread but I could drill and tap it and install a threaded stud of the right size for the Hogue grips. Thanks!
