Bullseye inspired me sometime ago with his Ahrends and I must vote for the tactical finger grooves. After many styles of S&W grips on K, L and N frames, I have found that this is the best revolver grip I have ever used. I tried three sets on my 619 until I got these, and plan to put an identical set on a model 64 and a model 547 soon. My hands are a bit small, and I find them to be an almost custom fit, gaining a balance I have never felt with a revolver before. I was not that keen on the looks of them through pictures, but am 100% sold on them after seeing them and using them. They are the best looking, handling and fitting grips I have yet to see, but you know the old saying, "your mileage may vary". I think they would be a pretty good match for a short barreled 66.
