Personally I prefer the 5 to 6 inch barrel models, also in Australia, for the last 6 or so years we have had restrictions on barrel length. I wish i could buy 28-2 wall paper for my gun room.

Yes, 28's are beautiful. I have owned my 28 since 1973 when I paid $110 which included 4 boxes of 357 ammo. They are ugly ducklings but beautiful swans. ENJOY YOUR 28.
