Graham, so glad you decided to pick up the 28-2. My 28,4", no dash was my latest purchase. One thing I love about the S&W's is there high polish blue finish. Although this revolver does not have the finish I like, there is something about it that I love. It feels just perfect in my hand. At the range I do put .357's through it, but I also put .38 specials through it as a cost saving method. I know you're going to love it.
