I have a box of Hirtenberger ammo that is packed in a rather generic brown pasteboard carton with a white label pasted over the top that reads "Hirtenberger 50 Cartridges 9mm Luger 100 grs Soft Point FL-Bullet Law Enforcement Grade.
The bullet is truncated with a flat tip and just a couple of mm of lead exposed.
The headstamp is HP 9mm LUGER +P+ and there is read sealant around the primer. I've had it for probably 15 years or so.
It's not the SMG ammo but I'll take the +P+ headstamp for it's word that it's loaded hotter than standard 9mm ball and reserve it's use for all steel pistols.
