Nice work. It's always fun to do what many think is impossible. I've heard that round balls were supposed to be pretty accurate for parlour shooting. Since the original conicals were outside lubed, healed bullets, their O.D. was the same as the case neck O.D. Are you sure the diameter of your round balls is large enough?
