My firearms are covered by a seperate policy as my homeowners policy will only pay up to $1000 in the event of a firearm loss. Is it cheap? NO. Is it worth it? YES. I've never filed a claim for loss, but all I have to do is have a police report showing what, where and when. Do I worry about my info being stored on a computer some place that could be hacked and my collection being stolen? NO. That's why I have insurance.
