I have a pickup truck gas tank, an exhaust pipe and a heat shield that I need to ship to an expert in these things.

How would one send this? All the stuff was on a truck that caught fire and burned after an impact.

Boxing it up would be almost impossible.

Not sure how one would band it up on a pallet.

Does the freight companies just take the items and put labels on it before shipping or am I supposed to do this?

Never had a situation like this before. Please remember this is evidence and there has to be a chain of custody maintained as well.
