You will probably need to crate the items for shipping, but I foresee a larger problem, the gas tank undoubtedly contains gasoline fumes which cannot be completely purged, making it a very effective bomb. It will probably have to be shipped as ha-mat with special handling. Not sure how to maintain a chain of evidence, though.
