I use the same set up for my "travel" gun. Mine is a Bulgarian legal conversion to use the Ace folder. The twenty round magazines are great as they do not protrude below the pistol grip. As mentioned above, I have the grip next to the door so the muzzle is pointed away from me when removing it. I rarely carry passengers in the back seat so the muzzle inward transport is not a problem. I cover the gun with a jacket to keep window peepers form seeing it.
