I like the .44 Special Gold Dots, as well as the Federal 200gr. LSWC-HP load. It's like a .44 Special version of the .38 Special "FBI" load. Both of them are extremely pleasant to shoot and controllable in my 4" Model 29-2. I found the Gold Dots to be more accurate, at least in that gun.
