Your best bet would be ordering one of the plastic copies johnsonl mentioned. There's a guy on the forum making and selling them for $25 each, I believe the price is. You can do a search and find them. Anyway, trying one of these will let you know if you like the feel of the adapter and not break the bank doing so. If you don't like it, you wouldn't have any problem reselling it here. If you like it, you can always keep an eye out for an authentic "period correct" Tyler T-grip at the right price later.
