Good point...
and don't forget to add: you can accidentally leave a bag behind, or it could get stolen if you leave it for even a couple seconds.
I have pondered the idea of off-body carry...but the risks are too great, and if a gun is needed....you will never have time to retrieve it from a bag. (a bit of force-on-force training will convince you of this..)
