Excellent! That was when they were made in Brazil before Taurus got a hold of them. If you compare the build of yours to a current model Rossi or Taurus (I know they do not have the 44) you can see the difference in quality. Like a dummy I passed over 2 of their 6 shot 357 Mags.
The originals where very well made. Good buy on the 44, I would grab one of those also.
