My wife often carries in a Maxpedition Fatboy that she has rigged with a dedicated holter. It takes her about .5 second more to get the gun out than me with an on body carry. You're welcome to try and take it away from her but I sure ain't trying anytime soon on anybody's behalf

The great thing about it is that if she suspects anything is wrong she can slide her hand in the dedicated compartment and literally walk around with her gun in her hand under everybody's noses. The gun can then be drawn as quickly as if out of an open carry OWB holster. As with any other style of carry, taining and situational awareness are the key.
