So boot grips are roughly the same thing as Magna-style grips + Tyler-esque grip adapter?

I guess what I'm really trying to find out is if there are any notable "advantages" or unique feeling to having the adapter setup. I know each person is different, but I'd like to hear from some of you who have had far more experience than me on this.

NOTE: Again, this is for my N Frame.. I understand for smaller revolvers, having the combo mentioned results in better concealment.. but my question is directed more towards bigger revolvers.
