Default Scope

Hi Gary,
I don't think you will regret the Leupold.
Here are a couple of cheaper options to consider.
Here is a picture of mine with a Burris Mini and Burris mount.
Both scope and mount are discontinued but I put them in my favorites as Gunbroker and E-Bay searches and found both this spring with little effort. They are out there. It is not a rimfire scope but it out shoots some of my other .22's with rimfire scope on them.
The other is a fixed four Nikon Pro Staff Rimfire. It can be found for under 100.00 and the more I use it the more I like it. They make a variable rimfire scope also. Here is the Nikon on the BAR.
.
I like both of these set ups but there would not be anything wrong with the Leupold.
Good luck
Mike
