While not pinned nor recessed I would have to say the 4" 24-3, .44 special is certainly in the 'collector' definition, 2,625 made in 1983. Also the 4" 16-4, .32 H&R Magnum, only 8,800 of the total run of 4, 6 and 8 3/8" models made from about 1988 to 1992, I believe the 4" was only made in '90-'91 but could be off a year.
As with considering any 'collectable' try for as near NIB condition as possible, they will always hold value longer than lesser grades, all else being equal. The trick is to get them NIB and then have the patience it takes to keep them in that condition, that is the hard part.
