Yes, indeed . . . it is a Dayton gun that shipped in August 1965.
Thanks to fellow Forum member BigLarry, I have replaced the well-worn grips with a correct pair of diamond PC magnas . . . thank you Larry.
Some cleaning and the better stocks make it a pretty presentable example of the "Hanen Special".
Note the distinctive thick barrel wall and thin, non-serrated barrel rib.
