the trigger from the factory just plain sucks, just because it works doesn't mean one should just leave it. I was going to sell off my M&P 40 because of the trigger alone. Then found out about the Apex kit. Dropped it in there and it is a whole new gun for me. Since, I have purchased a M&P 45 and immediately dropped in a new APEX kit. I love it and will be keeping both pistols. My friends felt the same way, and guess what, they got a APEX kit and will be keeping there pistols now. Bottom line is S&W should have done a better job with the trigger.
