For sale is my Smith & Wesson 25-5, 6" blue, in .45 Colt.

It's the 25-5 Model of 1955 Target revolver, heavy barrel, made either in 1990 or 1991. Of course, no lock.

Gun is in very good to excellent condition. Bluing is almost perfect, no major scratches or issues. Slight turn line. Right panel of grip was slightly modified by previous owner with a finger groove near the bottom of the grip and then refinished. The lock-up is solid with typical S&W "wiggle." No accessories, case, etc. I'll include approximately 150 pieces of mixed brass and most of a box of Winchester Silvertips.

Gun has wide target trigger and hammer and red insert on front sight ramp. DA is typical S&W smooth; SA is extremely light - no scale, but it is truly glass rod of a break.

I have put about 150 mid-range loads through the revolver (250gr bullet, 8gr Unique). I don't know what the previous owner/s did.

$800 FTF in Houston area is preferred.

All usual caveats apply: must be legal to own firearms, Texas resident (for FTF). If shipped to you, you cover all shipping costs. Transaction must be complete one week from "I'll take it."

In addition, I have about 800 MBC 250gr LRN (Cowboy #1 - retail $48 + S&H per 500) bullets available and a sample pak of the 255gr SWC (.45 Elmer K.) available as well to the buyer - $75 takes the lot with the gun.
