Extractor pins for the SW1911 are not staked. They're press fit (from the bottom of the slide) like the 3rd gen pistols with pivoting extractors.

Usually it requires a "starter" punch and a 4 oz ball peen hammer to break one loose if the extractor has to be removed for repair. They shouldn't be removed except for repair. Removing them unnecessarily may eventually result in the hole becoming wallowed out and possibly failing to hold the pin securely. There are NO over-size extractor pins. A pin may be peened at one end by an armorer to try and get it to fit more snugly in the hole, but if the hole is enlarged too much the slide can be ruined.

The standard SW1911 extractor is a 3rd gen .40 extractor, BTW. (This does not include the new Enhanced models which use an oversize extractor, and which even use a different extractor pin.)
