I've always shot a LOT . . . a lot of practice rounds, and a lot of handgun matches. Thus, I handloaded of course to save money. That being said . . .

Why practice a lot with full power loads? It just wears out any gun and is hard on the shooter too!!! Thus, I practiced without brutal recoil . . . which helped me better develop good shooting technique, then I load the hot stuff for self defense.

Doing so will make your guns last longer and help YOU last longer too!!!
