I figured I would do my part to keep this thread alive by posting my first Model 41. This is a 4 digit serial number from 1957. I just picked up an old (not as old as the gun but an earlier oner I think) 5" field barrel. I don't know if the number on the bottom the barrel really means anything, but the 5" has a 2 stamped on it. The 7 3/8" has an S (not a 5 but a curvy S) stamped on the bottom.
