The best handling .22 Colt revolver in my opinion is the Diamondback. That's built on the Police Positive frame.
IIRC some earlier Police Positive Targets were made in 22 & 22wrf also but they seem more like an early S&W kit gun with their slim bbls and tiny grips.

The OP in .22 is a nice revolver but a little hefty. Same frame as the Python.
I wouldn't pass one by at the right price though.
A 98% pre-war .22 OP with a box sold for $800 not long ago on GB.
