I usually shoot 38 Spc in a 357 mag revolver. For me, a 158-160 grain bullet is very accurate with 4.2 grains of 231. I have tried 4.8 grains of 231 powder...that load is okey, but not as accurate as the 4.2 grain charge. Also a 158 grain bullet with 4.0 grains of Bullseye is a good load for plinking or target practice.
