I purchased an 18-0 a couple months ago for $500, my offer. He may have taken less, but there is a story in there I won't go into. He was the original owner and it came with box and tools, no paper. Shot very little, it was in my estimation 95+%. I talked to several people and was given the impression, even by a S&W rep, that I did well on this gun. So, if I were you, I would let my heart run the sale, like previously stated, if you like and want it, buy it. It will only go up in value with time. Great gun, it is my favorite shooter. I don't carry it in a holster and take very good care when it's out of the safe. Good luck in your decision.
