I always lusted over the 18's but he prices were always too high.Finally about 3 yeas ago found one.LNIB 18-3 from '78.Box,papers,tools for $370 at a gunshow. What a steal!!!
Two months later found a 5 screw from '54.about 98%,diamond magnas and all for $400.had too have this one too.
All the years waiting for the right deal finally came to pass.
The newest one is still unfired.Can't louse as a investment.The 5 screw
is just great! and fun shooter.Both or either were well worth the wait.
