Heiser model numbers don't generally tell what gun would fit it. Instead they describe the holster design and finish. Not what most of us have learned to expect these days. Its kind of a shame, too.
The best way to guess at what fits it is to just try a few guns in it.
As to value, the Heiser is in great demand these days. For a company that has been out of business for over 50 years, they still bring very healthy prices.
With a good number of them, you can turn the holster to the side in good light and sometimes see a penciled or ball point inscription of what it was made for. I'm guessing its a later thing, but its a clue. I don't even know when ball point pens became into general use.

It seems ball point pens were invented so they could write on leather!!
That impacts this thread because it would seem many holsters do have gun names or types written on them around the model number.
