They are genuine Herretts. Rod Herrett is a friend of mine and we go back to 1974 when he worked for the Idaho State Police. What they are not are Herrett's that are made in their "custom" shop. Those you will pay much more for.

I have a set on a 586 that I obtained from CDNN and very nice fit and design. Monday I'm getting ready to order another set for another 586 and a set advertized for Colt Python made by Herrett's.

Historically Herrett's under contract has made grips for Colt, Springfield Armory and others, just as Altamonts and Badger.

Great deal on a really nice set of grips.
