I just bought a new 3" 686-6 plus and really like it. Its as accurate as I am and has very nice balance. Taking one inch off the barrel and boring another cylinder hole brings the weight down to less than an ounce more than the 4" K frames. I personally don't think that I could conceal carry a 4" model. Not with the clothes that I wear. I have a Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake holster and some Kim Ahrend finger grove Cocobolo grips on the way.
