The finish looks bead-blasted which I don't think was original. Bead- blasting, however, is fine if you like it, but I saw a 64 in a local shop that had some after market baked-on coating -- and it had that same "no shine at all" look to it as in your photos. Is the gun you are buying bead-blasted? If not and it's some coating, I would pass until I found a cop trade in -- even if it looked a little scuffed around the edges.
