Thanks for the feedback. M&P compact definitely feels better in my hands compared to Glock so I'll never buy a Glock for that reason (just not comfortable for me).

As for full size M&P (at least one person suggested that), I tried that: shot a FS 45 and 40... too big for my hands.

But if the recoil of the M&P40c is comparable to the Glock 27 (and many have stated they're close), then I think the 40c is in my future.
