Everyone should enjoy the opportunity to name your weapon with your favorite girl's name and then sleep with it in the middle of winter in a canvas tent dug into the snow with a candle burning to keep the humidity from turning your tent into a block of ice.

I actually enjoyed boot camp. So much so that every now and then I would smile while the drill sergeant was screaming in my face and that would get him so mad I would end up doing hundreds of push-ups and became an automatic volunteer for the worst duties he could dream up. He wanted to break me but I knew it was just him doing his job and I actually enjoyed the entire experience!
