Hi all, new guy here..I just bought a Sport today. I already owned a shotgun (Remy 870 Express) and a handgun (Springfield XDM 9mm), and figured a rifle would be nice to have...so when I saw the M&P in a Gander Mountain ad, I couldn't believe an AR-15 rifle could be that cheap, and from a great company no less. I did some quick research and decided it would be a perfect entry into the AR world. Gander was sold-out, but a local gun shop/range had it for $10 cheaper anyway.

I'm looking forward to trying it out and customizing here and there. The salesman showed me a couple red dot sights, including the Vortex StrikeFire...any recommendations in this regard?
