I used to sell a lot of Jay Scott grips when I owned my gun shop in the '70s. They were fairly popular, primarily because they were the least expensive grips made, and, in this instance, that does translate to "cheap." They almost never fit well, the laminated construction of the faux pearl and ivory grips just leap out at you, practically screaming "cheap,"They and their wood grips are clunky in the hand, usually poorly finished, and often fit with varying degrees of wobble on the grip frame. They were one of the few things I threw out when I closed the shop, as it wasn't worth trying to sell them, and I didn't want to keep them. Sorry, but they are kind of funky, always were.
