Looks like there are many 17 experts here and I have a question. I just got a M17-5 6" new in the box, never fired, still wraped in CP all tools unopend. It is NIB. What is it worth? I have a 17-5 and 617 that I shoot daily in bullet trap. I am wondering if I would be able to trade this for a clean M17 8"? I have many guns but none of them are unfired, it seems there are a large number of collectors that want guns in this condition. Before I start shooting it, I thought I would get an educated opinion of the value and if anyone would like to trade a 8" shooter for it.
