EXCELLENT summary of why I own 20 steel or stainless steel 1911s made by different manufacturers. My S&W 1911 is near the top of the list. 45 acp leads the herd, but there are 40 S&W and 9 mm just because. Who cares about a tacticool reload -- draw another 1911!
