I chose the M&P22 and couldn't be happier. After checking out the Ruger SR22 and Walther P22 I started wondering if I really wanted such a small framed gun. After shooting them I was certain that I didn't. I wanted something that filled my hand and felt sturdy and substantial. My M&P22 has been nothing but a rock star; accurate, reliable and a whole lot of fun. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend you try before you buy.
