If I really liked the gun, I'd be willing to pay $800 for it. If you can get it for 10-15% less, so much the better. I think it boils down to whether you like nickel guns and six-inch barrels more than blue guns with barrels that are longer or shorter.
The ".41 Magnum Target" label is from the Standard Catalog. When a frame and caliber are available in both a fixed sight and adjustable sight version, the authors call the adjustable sight model (M57 and M24 for example) the "target" model and the fixed sight gun (M58 or M21) "military" or "M&P."
