I vote for the M&P .22. I am at about 700 rounds on mine, absolutely a ball to shoot and zero problems. I also have a Sig 1911-22, but prefer the feel of the M&P (yeah, I know... heresy to the 1911 lovers!).
I liked the M&P .22 so well I picked up a full sized 9, and I am looking at others... I think it got me hooked.
My impression of the SR22 wasn't very good... double action felt like a Keltec... safety moves in the wrong direction if you are used to the 1911... and a little too small. Didn't actually fire one.
