They are, in essence, a .22 Magnum semi-auto handgun- in the power and lightweight category- a much better, yet far more expensive arm than any semi-auto .22 Magnum handgun ever made- and the ammo is reloadable.
I do not have one of the 5.7 FN pistols, but I do have a T/C barrel in that caliber. It's a bit easier to load for than a .22 Hornet- it just isn't as finicky- but just as accurate- but I didn't need it other than I wanted it for all the brass I found on the range at one time- I never see the stuff strewn about any more.
