It really is a lot like a .22 Magnum semi auto, and I stand by that- if you have owned an AMT Automag like I have, and have shot the FN pistol, I don't see much, if any difference in the way they shoot, other than the FN doesn't jam- neither pistol has any recoil to speak of. Shoot them, or one of the new Kel-tec magnums side by side and then tell me. Even with it's heavier bullet and higher velocity, they shoot and feel the same...perhaps the AMT might edge it out in accuracy, but certainly not reliability.

The 5.7 is easier to load...if for a single shot. I don't have a clue on reloading for the FN pistol- I guess the brass would wear out a lot faster in a jam-amatic- I've had no problems in my T/C. It isn't tricky at all compared with it's brothers the .218 bee, .22 hornet.

Wasn't the 5.7 round what was used to raid a Chinese embassy somewhere in South America?
