That Ruger Mk III is a fine quality, very sweet looking and shooting gun--but have you tried breaking it down yet? Nicely ask your LGS dealer to demonstrate how to take it down for cleaning. It's comparatively very difficult, in fact it's easy to scratch the gun while doing so. I wouldn't recommend it as a first gun for that reason, although if you're just shooting for target practice, it's hard to beat that gun for the money.
