Indeed! My 5 inch 10-5 has its original K-frame squared walnut Dymondwood checkered service grips (numbered to match the revolver). Since my 10-5 is new to me, my big hands have a difficult time finding that perfect hold since it's so small, but for me, I would never change it out for bigger target grips as I like keeping my piece all original...but that's just me. I do wear GripSwell padded shooting gloves, so that helps me out a lot getting that firm grip.
