Sorry no updates, I didn't get a chance to get into the machine shop this week. Hopefully one night this week ill get back to it.
I didn't shoot before I took it apart because the barrel barely had any visible rifling left....

As for the sight rib its from a 22a, it came off of a barrel a friend of mine had replaced, I just milled the hook off the back where it attached to the original frame.

GRIPS, is a whole other issue, I've been looking around for a set of larger J frame grips to put on it I just haven't found any that struck my fancy yet...
