I don't know - I can see the value of the safety lock on the Shield. If Kahr hadn't made their crazy safety lock upside-down on the PM9, I would have paid the extra freight to get one with a safety.

It might be too bad the gun isn't a little smaller and lighter, but I consider the PM9 a minor handful, so this one in .40 might be a plenty to handle. Either the Shield or the Kahr are really too heavy to put in a pocket, so if they end up on the belt, the small difference in size and weight may not be a distraction. I will be interested to see one.
