Brazilian 1917 .45 revolver barrel. In nice shape with shiny bore with light darkness in grooves would probably improve with cleaning. Barrel is marked Fabrica De Itajuba Rv.45 M917.

Would be a good candidate to chop in to a snub length for a Fitz type build or to replace a thrashed barrel on a Brazil Navy contract 1917. Story behind these seems to be that Brazil built some of these parts to rebarrel guns they had in service when possibly they couldn't get replacement parts from S&W during WW2. $99 shipped

Original 1941 War Department field manual FM 23-36 for the Colt and Smith and Wesson .45 Caliber M1917 Revolver. Dated October 20, 1941. Inside says prepared under direction of the chief of cavalry.
Manual is 92 Pages full of very interesting information.
