You can buy it pre-assembled, but you save money by just screwing it together yourself. IMO, this is what these simple kydex/leather type of holsters should cost. If it works out well, I'll never waste money on Crossbreed again. Best thing is, you can buy another premolded shell if you change guns or just a sheet of Kydex if you have a gun that is hard to find holsters for. |
Old Faithful Holsters has been around for a couple years now. When he started out, he was selling JUST the kits, then expanded into the pre-assembled holsters. The design is pretty much tired & true, so the only issue would be the quality of the leather and thickness/quality of the Kydex. While I haven't purchased anything from him, I haven't heard any complaints on any of the forums about the quality of materials, or delivery time.
