A little off topic but yesterday I brought another pistol to the range I hadn't shot in years, my Beretta 92. This was one of the first stainless examples imported into the country and I carried it as a duty pistol until retiring. Not shooting it for such a long time I almost forgot how good a pistol it is. Quite large it seemed huge compared to more modern polymer pistols. But for a combat handgun I can see why it is still popular, it is a classic. My range compadres, veterans all enjoyed shooting the Beretta, and all agreed that the US military made a good choice with the M9. This old duty pistol is still a tack driver even after several thousand rounds. Ahhh nostalgia.......
